ponies!

Nathan got to visit with great grandma and grandpa recently and got to help feed and visit with their friends ponies. We even got to help feed them. It was really fun. Nathan said "dog!" the whole time despite my best efforts to correct him but it was sure cute.

birthday lunch

On the day of Nathan's actual birthday we were able to get together for lunch at one of our families favorite restaurants. Thanks to Grandma & Granpa Nancy and Erick, Great Grandma Delfa, Great Grandpa Roy, Tia Marissa, Tia Gianna, cousin Marcello, cousin Gabrielle and cousin Ian. It meant alot to us that you were able to come. Here are some pics from our lunch.

birthday party

Last weekend we held Nathan's 1st Birthday party. Lots of family and friends joined us and we had a great time. It was very special and memorable. Below are some pictures from the party.

Nathan's "Handy Manny" themed cake. More on that later.
The ballons were a big hit with mijo

Nathan really like having his own little cake. As you will see he made a little mess.

Nathan's Grandpa Erick and cousin Melony had a good time. After some heavy partying Melony was starting to get a little tired here.
After the party Nathan was sure to give hugs and kisses thanking everyone for coming. He's such a good host.

first birthday

Today is Nathan's first birthday. As I look at him and spend the day with him I am at a loss of words to describe how I feel today. I am so proud, honored, blessed, privileged and humbled by this little boy. This past year as seen some tremendous changes for Nathan but I know with every bit of my heart that he is loved by all his family beyond measure and we will all do all we can to ensure he understands just how loved he is. We must enjoy each and every day we have and not simply go through the motions. Today is a milestone in my young sons life but it is a day like any other. A day he will play, laugh and love all around him. I've learned to treasure each and every day with him, every minute and moment. I treasured yesterday, I treasured today and I look forward to tomorrow.

Ok, so now on to a few pics. Below are some pics of him today as we hung out and celebrated.
In the one right below I simply asked if he knew how old he was today. You think he knows?
