bulding the foundation

Over the last few weeks our church (Visalia First Assembly) has been proposing to build a new worship center. This is the only church Nathan has ever attended and he loves it! As they discuss building a new larger worship center we have become really excited as we fully expect this to continue to be Nathan's home church. During a service recently Pastor Mike invited the congregation to take small stones they provided and write the names of those here and yet to come that we would like to be saved. These stones would then be collected and placed literally in the foundation of the new worship center's altar so that we may pray over them.

Nathan and I completed our stone and placed it with the others. A nearby photographer snapped a quick picture of us. The next week on our way into church we were excited and surprised to see a beautiful framed photo of us. We just thought we'd share.

  1. I thought this was beautiful! I was so suprised to see the photo on our way in to church. It's great to build his foundation at a young age. I pray the future hold many great things for you both. Always know that forgiveness comes with time for all who look for it. Have faith that God will keep you close as you keep Him with you on your journey in life. I love you both, Mom
